Chapter 19 (841) GOSPEL OF JOHN
   wife of Cleopas, and Mary Magdalene. When
Jesus saw his mother and the disciple whom he
loved standing there, he said to his mother,
“Woman, behold your son!” Then he said to the
disciple, “Behold, your mother!” And from that
hour, the disciple took her to his own home.

and so that the Scripture might be fulfilled, Jesus said, “I am thirsty.” Now, a vessel full of sour wine had been placed there, so the soldiers filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on a stick of hys- sop, and held it at his mouth. Then, after Jesus received the sour wine, Jesus said, “It is accom- plished!”
