media, often viewed in isolation, we celebrate this
public exhibition which provides a rare opportu-
nity to encounter the power of tangible paintings
experienced in a communal gathering. By host-
ing it, the city of Berlin has gifted not only its own
citizens, but confirmed for all of Germany, that it
remains at the forefront of fostering opportunity
for dialogue spanning nations and disciplines,
uniting past and future, which is essential to pres-
ervation of life in the public square and explora-
tion of what it means to be fully human.
With the publication of this book featuring
the collection of the exhibition, we wish to invite
a fresh appreciation for the uniqueness of the
personalities and their contributions, introduc-
ing them to a wider audience, building bridges
between art, history, science, psychology, philos-
ophy, music and literature in the hopes that it
may stimulate new adventures among those per-
sons whose images have yet to be written, but
whose contributions are waiting to be born.

Blooming Algovia, acrylic on gesso board, 2024
The serene paradisical mountainous landscape of the Algovia (Allgäu) region in Bavarian
Swabia, where lush greenery dominates the scene. The distant mountains are rendered in
harmonious shades of green, blue, and purple, creating a tranquil depth. In contrast, the
foreground bursts with vibrant flowers, introducing warm hues that play delightfully
against the cooler tones of the mountains. The interplay of warm and cool colors weaves a
balanced and captivating composition, reflecting the region’s natural beauty.
