In the Eucharist, through the intervention of the Holy
Spirit, each of us takes on the unique identity of Christ and
becomes unique, “just as” Christ! God the Father sees in
each one of us Christ! Every time and in every different
person, it is the face of Christ “in another form.” But it is
precisely in becoming “one,” unique, that each of us does
not separate from others, but rather in a Trinitarian man-
ner—like the Holy Trinity—in communion with others,
not in isolation, but in a relationship of Love and Com-
munion with all other persons! Through the Communion
of the Holy Spirit, each human person becomes one with
Christ and with all other Christs! In other words, with the
entire world! The Father in Christ, and we in Christ,
through the Holy Spirit! Through the Holy Spirit, the Fa-
ther unites with us in Christ! Thus, all things become true
Life, Joy, Peace, Hope, Light—everything becomes Love,
everything becomes the Triune God!
The Kingdom of God is also present preemptively in
the ascetic life! In the ascetic life, we humble ourselves, fast,
and embrace poverty as much as possible, even if only pe-
riodically— on certain days of the year or certain hours of
the day. By humbling ourselves, fasting, and embracing
poverty, we reject the foundation of our existence in the
isolated created world, in ourselves, and thus declare our
hope and desire for our existence to be grounded in the
Grace and Love of God, in the future world of His King-
dom!
Finally, the Kingdom of God is present in the Mystery
of Love toward our fellow human beings! In the Mystery
of our Love for Christ, which is simultaneously Love for
