Lord, permit me to become Yours!
Let my heart be lifted up to You, O Word,
and let none of the world’s delights please me
toward servitude of lowly things!
Adorable! You became what I am, so that I may
become what You are!
Let it be so!
Amen!
Draw me with Your longing, O Christ,
and transform me
with Your divine love,
and consume my sins
with the immaterial fire,
and grant me to be filled
with the delight that is within You!
Let it be so!
Amen!
