Chapter 13 (111) GOSPEL OF MATTHEW
He told them another parable: “The Kingdom of Heaven is like the yeast that a woman took and mixed in with three measures of flour, until it was all leavened.” Jesus spoke all these things in para- bles to the crowds; and he did not speak to them without a parable, so that what had been spoken through the prophet might be fulfilled: I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things hidden from the foundation of the world. Then Jesus sent the multitudes away and went into the house.
