hen Jesus came down from the mountain, great multitudes fol- lowed him. Behold, a leper came to him and expressed adoration to him, saying, “Lord, if you want to, you can make me clean!” Jesus
stretched out his hand, and touched him, say- ing, “I want to! Be made clean!” Immediately, this man’s leprosy was cleansed. Jesus then said to him, “Do not tell anyone, but go, show your- self to the priest and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”
