Personal Protective Equipment Signs
From April 2013 the PPE Regulations 1992 apply the provision and use of hard hats on all construction sites. This means as an employer you must provide all employees with a hard hat and ensure that they are worn. Make sure that your hard hats are in good condition and fit the user properly. If the hat is damaged in anyway dispose of it and get
a new one.
When selecting your PPE, make sure you choose good quality products that are CE marked in accordance with the Personal Protective Equipment Regulations 1992. To ensure the right footwear is being used, you as an employer need to carry out a risk assessment.
