A distillery has been fined after a worker was engulfed in flames and left with burns to his face, head and neck in a fire that destroyed the warehouse and its contents.
The employee was transferring a highly flammable liquid. An investigation by the HSE found that the most likely source of ignition was discharge of static electricity generated by the transfer of the liquid.
