“I could never say thank you enough to the staff at URMC for their care of my husband. All departments have professional and caring staff who keep the patient and family needs at the top of the list. From ER, Radiology, Lab, Respiratory, OR, ICU, EVS, Dietary. All are so wonderful. Ready to answer questions no matter how many times you ask. Thank you to Dr. Knight for his surgical expertise. URMC is very fortunate to have him on staff. Always keeping us informed and answering our questions and concerns. This is my hospital and I feel at home and very well cared for.”
“I recently had surgery and was on the second floor. Everyone involved with my care was very compassionate, knowledgeable and went over and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. I can’t remember them all but wanted to name a few. Michelle Cofer, Abby Matthews, Tonda Stone, Kelli Pitts, Amber and Richarda. Thank you all for everything.”
“My elderly mom fell and they went all out making sure she was fine. Big kudos to a tech named Nick that helped us start our car to leave, because in all the emotions following her in an ambulance I left the lights on and battery was dead.”

“Really fantastic experience at Upson Regional. Used their Upson Family Medical Center Southside clinic across the street from the hospital for something that could have been serious. Had a great experience there. Then had more testing done at the main hospital. Everything from registration to testing to getting results and a game plan from doctors was done very professionally and quickly. This hospital is amazing. From start to finish and beyond they took great care of me. I am
a kidney transplant patient and they took everything I said very serious. Maggie the nurse practitioner listened to all of my concerns, was very compassionate, and was very caring. My nurses Amanda and Wendy were very nice
and took exceptional care of me.This may be a small county hospital, but don’t let that fool you.They will take great care of you.”
