“As many of you know recently I suffered through being intubated for COVID19.
I received treatment at Upson Regional Medical Center where it is my belief
that they have the finest staff, the finest doctors, the finest nurses, the finest nurse practitioners, therapists, lab tech, X-ray techs, breathing therapist, everyone who works there. Every person in that hospital treated me with dignity, professionalism, compassion in aspect of my care. I can
truly say that everyone at that hospital that worked with me gave one hundred percent; many of them even prayed for me. They are truly God’s hand extended; they are truly angels that God has sent among us so when you go through Upson County and you think you hear the brush of angels’ wings, look up, look up over the hospital because that’s where they are. I thank each and every one of you for the loving care that you gave me to help me survive this dreaded horrible virus. Truly the presence of the Lord is in that place.”

“Last year my Dad went in having trouble breathing and was lightheaded. They ran all these tests and could not find anything. The nurse practitioner had a hunch and ran one more test which came back abnormal. She then ordered a CT and found blood clots on his lungs. She saved his life. Then, he suffered a stroke. We called an ambulance right away and they got him to the ER. They were able to get him treated right away. My Dad is still with us because of URMC.”
