Upson celebrates
This year, healthcare has experienced unprecedented challenges. Healthcare has been on the front page of every newspaper,
on the news every day, and on social media feeds like never before. The challenges we’ve faced as a profession have been on the forefronts of everyone’s minds this entire year. But what the media can’t quite capture is the unwavering strength of our healthcare professionals. For Upson, our staff have shown bravery, team spirit, resilience, and a heightened sense of compassion.
We celebrated July 24- August 14 as “hospital month” in celebration of our extraordinary staff during these difficult times. Staff received Chick-fil-A biscuits, ice-cream, and celebrated with
decade day and a Hawaiian luau.
Peer-nominated Top Banana Awards were also given during hospital month. Some awards were serious, and some were funny.
This was a great way for staff to recognize their co-workers
for making URMC a great place to work.
