Assessment
The THP Board of Directors approved types of THP Board of Directors’ self-assessment, including the board evaluation and the self-assessment, at the 8/ 2024 THP Board of Directors’ Meeting dated 19 August 2024 and the meeting approved the self-assessment results of the THP Board of Directors at the 10/ 2024 THP Board of Directors’ Meeting dated 28 October 2024. It was suggested that the number of directors was too small, causing the burden to take care of many dimensions per person. If there were more directors, it would increase efficiency.
Director Development
In 2024, there were two new appointed directors, Mr. Chutidej Chayuti and Narongchai Wongthanavimok, Ph.D., to whom THP sent documents related to operation of the THP Directors, including the manual on guidelines for overseeing THP 's operations, the duties and responsibilities of THP Board of Directors and the ethics manual for THP Directors. Moreover, THP has made arrangements for the Board of Directors to supervise on-site audits at the post offices under Regional Bureau, Region 10. Besides, the THP Board of Directors also participated in various training/ seminars with outside agencies, namely
- Future Public Sector Leadership Development Program for King Prajadhipok’s Institute Alumni (2023 – 2024) – organized by King Prajadhipok’s Institute
- Executive Program on Integrated Sustainable Development of Bangkok – organized by Navamindradhiraj University
- Vitality Enhancement & Longevity Academy (VELA) – Cohort 2 – organized by Chulalongkorn University
- Cybersecurity Leadership Certificate Program (CLCP) – organized by Sasin Graduate Institute of Business
- ESG in the Boardroom : A Practical Guide for Board (ESG) Cohort 1 – organized by the Thai Institute of Directors (IOD)
- Certificate in ESG Management Program (Cohort 1) – organized by Sasin Graduate Institute of Business (SasinSEC) and the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET)
- The Cullinan : The Making of the Digital Board (Cohort 4) – organized by the Thailand Management Association (TMA)
