In 2024, THP operated amidst ongoing social changes, particularly the advancement of modern technologies that have impacted people’s lifestyles. Technology has become an integral part of society, influencing all activities, such as interpersonal communication, trading of goods, and financial transactions that are conducted more online. These factors have had a significant effect on THP’s services, which are traditionally structured. As a result, the overall volume of work has slightly decreased by 0.3% compared to the same period last year.
Currently, online social media has a significant influence on the public, and communication through online channels has become more popular, replacing communication by postal services in greater proportion. However, the Mail Service segment has seen a slight increase in performance compared to the same period last year, with a 1% growth, due to offering services that are tailored to each customer group. Additionally, this year, there was a special event involving the sale of postcards for predicting the results of the UEFA European Championship (EURO) 2024 match.
