1.2 Risks from Interruption of Critical Services and Important Works Systems
Advancement of technologies and expansion of customer base in the online auction channel
(AUCT LIVE), resulting in an increased volume of transactions on the network system continually, thus, the
Company has risks from failure of major infrastructure systems, such as electricity system or internet
network, which may lead to interruption of online auction and consequently impact on revenue, image and
confidence to the customers and business partners.
The Company’s Risk Management
The Company has established a Business Continuity Management (BCM) Policy, at both
organizational and departmental levels, with important measures, such as the preparation of necessary
redundant systems to support main operating systems, with the closed monitoring systems on quality of
the operation systems and networks. Additionally, a preventive maintenance plan of material equipment
has been prepared, as well as constantly conducted BCP drills and reviewing.
1.3 Risks from Accidents Arising from Operations
As the Company’s operations are likely to have accidents that occur in the course of their
work which may result in injuries, sickness, loss of life or property damage, as well as may affect the
society, community, and stakeholders.
The Company’s Risk Management
The Company has set policies, targets and work plans to prevent and control losses from
accidents that may affect the lives, properties, and environment, by specifying risk control measures that
focus on creation of safety culture for employees through knowledge provision and arrangement of activity
to create awareness. Safety rules compliance has been strictly controlled and monitored, as well as auditing
and promoting on finding hazard identification to prepare for preventive-correction measures before
occurrence of the accident.
1.4 Human Rights Risks
The Company acknowledges that human rights are fundamental rights that must be equally
treated, and it is one of the important principles that affect business operations. The Company has paid
close attention and supervision, especially regarding equal treatment of employees, partners, customers,
including the related people. If it has not been managed systematically, it may have a negative impact to
both image and business operation continually, such as suspension of purchasing and selling of products
and services, opposition from society, community including destroying confidences of the employees, etc.
