Dan Thomas - was hospitalized at The Medical Center of Plano on July 8th from a fall he had taken after getting dehydrated. Al- though he gashed his head and ended up with 4 stitches he is now recovering at home. And is ex- pected to be back at work mid September. We're glad he was able to attend the meeting on Saturday.
Bill Marick - Has been released from the hospital where he had been for several days, due to low blood count. Happy to see him at the meet-
ing Saturday.
Andrew Patterson - Lion Tom Richardson spoke with him by phone. He was home recuperating from some heart surgery, and hopes to make it back to a club meet- ing in the future.
George Harrington - hospitalized after
fainting at home re- cently. (He was released from The Medical Center of Plano on Satur-
day afternoon.)
Tom Richardson - Oncolo- gist report indicates good results from recent CT scan. Four years for him being cancer-free!
One update, following the meeting:
Lion Tom Seibert had to take his wife Elaine Seibert to the ER. She is at The Medical Center of McKinney, facing surgery very soon, as her system stabilizes.
Adding another update to Elaines condition.
She is scheduled for sur- gery tomorrow, the 9th of August, She looked so much better than she
did Saturday afternoon. Tom promised to keep us updated on her recovery.
Support from the club has been great, from members visiting at the hospitals, offering assis- tance when needed, and keeping club membership alerted and updated.
This summer and heat
has hit us all hard. Please keep yourselves hydrated. And Please keep All mentioned in your prayers as they re- cover from their ill- nesses. I know I tend to get busy at times and am sorry I hadn’t been able to publish this up- date earlier.
For those able to stop in to visit with Elaine you may wish to talk with Lion Tom Richardson or Tom Seibert to see if she is up for visitors.
My Prayers go out to All going through difficult times.
I have posted a couple of healing prayers I found and wanted to share on the opposite page. I hope this isn’t too uncomfortable to anyone.
