I have become more interested in the characters
that opportunity supplies us with. Some eke out a simple existence selling basic provisions. Others fill the souks with that essential diversion from less savoury smells.
The Khan Khalili is fascinating to explore. If only
they would leave me be and let me wander. I can’t escape my appearance as some silly tourist ripe for the picking!
