The frame is the basic architectural element and a recurring theme. It provides suitable constraint through which
we press to the other side. Our enjoyment is based on a sense of procedure that is not only linear, or measured in yards or minutes. We pass through gates and arches and something happens each time we cross the threshold. All the time we are in motion but do we catch the moment?
