I took a deep breath and crossed over into the Ommayad Courtyard. My first visit was in the late afternoon on a warm spring day. The buildings were shimmering in the golden sunlight. Reflections in the polished floor took me back to Venice! Figures in black. Silhouettes floated gracefully before my eyes. More deep breaths. Wonderful!
