Bicycle Repair Man, Damascus - 1998
A bicycle repair man. I studied him for ages. He was an unwitting party to my visual feast. Others in the street wondered at my delight. I enjoyed weighing up the balance between a crouched old man, his metal file and an old chair in the foreground. It was critical!
