"Practice makes perfection, but nobody is perfect, so why practice?"
I can still barely recall the first day I came to the school, who cried for half-day and having a hard time to adapt to a new place and environment. Finally, countless stories are finally coming to an end. I should say it is is not easy from preschool until reaching this moment of high school graduating.
In my 13 years of life in the school, I acquired not only tons of knowledge but also accomplished ways to think with international mindedness, and fulfilled with the awareness of the obligations as an international student. I struggled during my first six years in MXIS, failing, missing assignments, and I should even attend summer class to be promoted to the next level. In the next seven years, everything changed, after all these struggles, I also ended up as a graduate today. Words cannot describe my appreciation to my parents, friends, as well as the teachers who are with me throughout this process.
It is not easy to compress everything from 13 years to one. Also, I intentionally not to provide a guide nor suggestions. Since, as we all know, each of us has our unique way of filling up our journey. I hope, however, you are proud of being part of the egret family, discover what you are genuinely passionate about, and from that, the right path will appear and guide you towards the “success”.
