Premium-Quality Ignition Rotor
While prices have fallen, so has the quality of some ignition parts. Luckily, we work with a number of
suppliers here and abroad who are reversing the trend. A good example is this heavy duty ignition rotor.
Some background: recently manufactured rotors are not like what Lucas manufactured when classic Jag-
uars were new. Newer rotors have much more carbon black in the plastic, which increases its conductivity. Original
contacts were molded into the body of the rotor; replacement rotors use a rivet, the tip of which is very close to the
spring clip on the underside of the rotor. Because the high-energy spark from the coil will follow the path of least resistance, this
path can pass through the rivet and spring clip and ground out on the distributor shaft. This will cause a “miss” that will only go
away temporarily when things cool down. Our new heavy duty rotors are made from a non-conductive resin and the brass contact
is molded to the body; no rivet means no chance of conductivity. Finally, the socket is precisely sized for a tight and accurate t.
Highly recommended. The DRB106HD rotor ts all XKs, all six-cylinder E-Types, all early sedans and XJ-6 Series I and II with points.

NEW Distributor Condenser
The quality of various tune-up components has taken a nose dive in recent years and many condens-
ers would test ne but fail in use due to poor construction. Some would cause a spark delay of up to
20 degrees! While more expensive, our new condenser o ers exceptional quality and performance.
They’ve been tested to show enhanced high-frequency coil oscillation, stronger spark discharge
within 2 MS of points opening, resulting in longer dwell. In addition, they absorb excess voltage to
protect the points from overheating, arcing and burning. A few key features: Extended coil support
under epoxy sealing cap. Four-plus meters insulated, high-grade, capacitor eld and foil with high-cur-
rent pressure contact spring and support plate. All wires and leads are soldered -- not pinched! For all points-
equipped Jaguars with the exception of XK-120, XK-140 & MK VII.

Rebuilt SU Fuel Pumps

Calling these pumps “rebuilt” doesn’t do them justice. “Re-manufactured, improved and restored to perfection” comes a little closer. All
internal components are replaced and all seals and gaskets are ethanol resistant. The Viton diaphragms are exclusive to our rebuilder
and are rated to withstand 25 percent ethanol. Finally, all pumps are converted to pointless style and are 100 percent solid state. In
many ways, these pumps are superior to a brand new SU pump and are cosmetically as new with re-plated hardware and all labels,
etc. An excellent value. Core Charges Apply.
