MAKE YOUR SPARE ROOM SPECIAL
• Clear all the junk out that you have been keeping in there telling yourself you will sell it at the next car boot sale
• Give the room a quick makeover with an easy t pendant like the pre y Secret Garden (shown le )
• Don’t forget to ensure you have a mirror in the room, so many spare rooms lack a mirror for ge ng ready for the day • Add a Christmas star light as a so table light or gentle night light
• Hang a personalised Christmas Decora on in the room, no need to make it into Santa’s Gro o but a Gingerbread Man or Star with your guests ini als applied or a welcome message can be a lovely touch
• Leave some bo led water and a couple of glasses, a er the fes vi es your guests may need to hydrate!
LITTLE FESTIVE FINISHING TOUCHES
• Consider using a theme that runs in the decora on throughout the home. It may be a colour of nsel running throughout, or perhaps some li le decora ons sca er through various parts of your home
• Use ar cial snow spray - despite the fact that it rarely snows on Christmas Day, we all associate it with snowy scenes straight from a snow globe. It can instantly transform your windows and doors
• Put together a Christmas picture. You don’t need to be an ar st - simply draw a bare s ck tree with branches and write the names of all of your guests on a heart. Cut out the hearts and s ck them at the end of the branches!

Add li le slips of paper with a mix of jobs to do around the house, treats and fun games e.g. Load the dishwasher, sing Jingle Bells, a quick charades game or perhaps ask all of your guests to write a fun game or ac vity down as they walk in. Perfect to keep the everyone amused on Boxing Day!
