• Performed all temporary and permanent erosion control measures for the project.
• Eliminated the need to
temporary mulch over 200 acres of cleared land by having a burn test performed on the existing soil. Doing so showed that it was less susceptible to erosion than if it had been stripped and mulched.
• Eliminated the need for temporary seeding by installing the permanent seeding of native grasses and forbs in a timely manner and continuing to seed beyond the seeding date windows. We accomplished this with success by modifying our seeding and mulching methods.
• Developed creative soil amendments which eliminated the enormous cost of hauling blended soil from 20 miles away.
