Azula froze on her track, she says this to herself a lot of time in her own head but to hear it firsthand, that brings her to the place she hasn't touched in so many years. She can feel the pepper-like sting on her eyes, she can feel the warmth of her own fire.
“You have everything I have, don't you? Tell me again why they all leave you” Kiyi took another step toward Azula turning her hand into a fiery torch, “ why Mai and Ty Lee turn on you?”
Azula roars out a burst of blue fire, a shrieking cry cuts through the echoing hall. ShAzula can feel her chest start to pound really fast, she can feel the anger rise within her.
“How about Zuko? didn’t he treat you like he treated me? have you ever think that all she ever wanted it's just a sister that got his back!”
Enraged Azula generates an orb of fire around her arm and with all the anger that runs through her veins she blasts Kiyi away, knocking her back to where the end of the altar.
Without hesitation Azula circles her arm around her body, a spark of lighting starts to gather around her fingertips. She took a deep breath and aimed her finger tips toward Kiyi.
Kiyi managed to stand up with the power she had left, she faced the yellow eyes of the firebender in front of her. She raises her hand like a prisoner asking for mercy. But instead her mouth started to gape.
“ you don’t have to do this, Azula...”
The door of the royal Agni Kai hall flung open, Zuko and his envoy stood on the entrance. Next to him Mai, Ty Lee, Ursa, and Uncle Iroh froze to the scene they had discovered.
“Azula?” Ursa cried, “ is that really you?”
