I started day working on ranches when I
was 14 years of age working from the Pecos River to the Rio Grande then on to the Big Ben Country. I am now 82 and still in the saddle.
I manage The Squaw Creek Cattle Company. With over 400 head cattle.
I’ve also cooked on my wagon for some forty years. In 1996 I took the wagon to Atlanta and fed the Olympic committee. I was awarded Chuck wagon of the year by the Academy of western Artist. I’ve been in Many other cook- ing championships, 5 times World Champion.
In my cowboy life I been stomped on, kicked, stampeded over by 100 head cattle, shot at and missed but I am blessed to still be setting tall in the saddle .
