30 years - Our Journey Continues Ryerson University COVID grant report
 Ryerson Aboriginal Foundations Winter 2021-2022
University Advancement
Ryerson Aboriginal Student Services
The Ryerson Aboriginal Foundations program (AFP) continued delivering support to students online throughout 2021 thanks to the grant from the Johnson Scholarship Foundation. We stayed in contact with students who had deferred and will be offering the program in-person in 2022. While we are in a period of weekly assessment due to the changing nature of the pandemic and the impact of the Omicron variant, we are hopeful for more in-person teaching and learning in the year ahead.
The university is hoping to shift from online to in person classes in February 2022, as long as it is deemed safe by public health authorities. We greatly appreciate the support of the Johnson Scholarship Foundation grant to realize the transformation of the Aboriginal Foundations program for online delivery and supporting the return to in-person delivery in 2022.
