Susie Frazier is a fine artist and product designer who’s inspired by patterns found within weathered materials from natural and industrial landscapes. Fascinated by the distressed markings and imperfect textures of fallen earth fragments and reclaimed wood, Susie favors a simple, modern aesthetic to create a wide range of fine art, public art, and home accessories. Her thirteen-piece installation titled Revolve, pictured on the left, as well as pieces on the 7th and 23rd floors, were created by taking macro photographs of cut driftwood, enlarging them into gicleé prints, mounting them to salvaged wood, and then coating them with encaustic wax.
