SCIENCE PARK
In 2020 we swelled our team of development, planning and environment specialists so we are even better equipped to support clients in their development and regeneration projects.
One such project is Exeter Science Park, which DJB has been advising on since the beginning of its development. Exeter Science Park is the vision to develop a science park in the South West of the UK to stimulate a knowledge- based economy delivering better jobs, higher productivity and economic growth. When fully developed the site will comprise a million square feet of accommodation, spread over 64 acres and will provide over 3,000 new jobs.
Our work so far has covered planning law issues, advice relating to the construction of the Park and its properties as well as the estates management work, including the negotiation of leases with tenants. Most recently, this includes advising on the construction of the Ada Lovelace Building which provides 20,000 square feet of of ce and laboratory space.
