NICK WARDE

Nick joined DJB in 2020 following a career as Head of Property at Mayo Wynne Baxter. Nick specialises in residential property and acts for a number of high net worth clients including footballers, sports stars, high pro le individuals and property developers. Nick also advises lenders on their mortgage work.
RAZINA AKHTAR
PQE: 12 years
Razina joined DJB in 2016 following a career at Burges Salmon LLP and ClarkeWillmott.Hercareerhighlights include advising on: the redevelopment of listed buildings in Bath to deliver the UK’s  rst 5* hotel with natural spa facilities; the development of an 8.2MW coastal wind farm development with an investment value of £14.5m for joint venture partners, as lead lawyer; and the regeneration of the Royal Albert Docks for the London Development Agency. Razina also specialises in Islamic Finance.
NIGEL HEILPERN
PQE: 34 years
Nigel joined DJB in 2018 following a career at Nabarro and as Local Head of Real Estate at both Fried Frank and King & Spalding. Nigel specialises in complex real estate  nance, notably advising on: the restructuring of a £900m real estate portfolio and the associated  nancing and group restructuring; multiple transactions throughout Europe, the Middle East and US for a London-based bank; and the STEPS transaction acquiring all the UK Inland Revenue’s 760 properties under a private  nance initiative.
RICHARD HOLMES
PQE: 18 years
Richard joined DJB in 2018 following a career at Eversheds and Freeths LLP. Richard’s career highlights include advising: as part of the team on the pre-let and landlord and tenant work for Land Securities Group/Hammerson plc; as lead lawyer on a Promotion Agreement for a residential scheme comprising over 100 houses; as lead lawyer on lease negotiations for a £150m hotel in Canary Wharf; and on estate management advice for Well Pharmacy, Cotton Traders, Costa, Poundstretcher and The Co-operative Group.
PHILIPPA HIPWELL
PQE: 27 years
Philippa joined DJB in 2016 following a career at Nabarro. Philippa’s career highlights include: the £72m acquisition of a multi-tenanted of ce block for Woking Borough Council; an acquisition conditional on planning with separate development agreement relating to the construction of 12 industrial units; and a city centre development agreement for mixed-use residential, retail, hotel and of ce with phasing arrangements and sensitivity around public realm areas.
ROBIN DE WREEDE
PQE: 17 years
Robin joined DJB in 2012 following a career in both private practice and in-house with Local Government. Robin has extensive experience in development and regeneration work, including as lead lawyer on the mixed- use regeneration of Sheerwater for Woking Borough Council; advising on regeneration schemes for Slough Borough Council involving seven key sites for a variety of regeneration uses; and acting for Exeter Science Park Limited in the development, management and expansion of Exeter Science Park.
