THE URBAN TRAVELER –
A SCULPTURE INSPIRED BY THE PAINTING BAD BOY.
This work marks a new turning point in my career as a sculptor: iit is a direct reflection of the growing influence my paintings now have on my sculptures. Where once my pain- tings emerged in the shadow of my sculptural forms, it is now the paintings that feed the sculpture. This reversal reveals a deep evolution in my creative process.
The character portrayed here echoes the codes of my most recent pictorial works: an urban, self-assured, contempo- rary figure, exuding a casual elegance. He evokes the painting Bad Boy — not to highlight a rebellious attitude, but rather to express a sense of independence and freedom of spirit. He moves forward, travel bag in hand, like a citizen of the world— curious about cultures, colors, and visual languages. He car- ries within him the intersecting influences of street life, fashion, graffiti, and raw emotion.
Physically, the character is evolving as well: the appearance of hair—something new in my sculptural universe—marks a desire to explore individual identity more deeply. This detail, borrowed from the textures of my digital paintings, signals a step toward the humanization of my characters—though not as a fixed rule for future works.
Here, the sculpture becomes a manifesto of this fusion between the pictorial and sculptural realms—a kind of bridge where textures, typography, and color converse with the material. As often, the base extends the story, evoking an urban environment that is grounded yet in motion.

LE VOYAGEUR URBAIN –
SCULPTURE INSPIRÉE DU TABLEAU BAD BOY.
Cette œuvre marque un nouveau tournant dans mon tra- vail en tant que sculpteur : elle est le reflet direct de l’influence grandissante qu’ont désormais mes tableaux sur mes sculp- tures. Là où, autrefois, mes tableaux naissaient dans l’ombre de mes volumes, c’est aujourd’hui les tableaux qui nourrit la sculp- ture. Cette inversion témoigne d’une évolution profonde dans mon processus créatif.
Le personnage représenté ici reprend les codes de mes œuvres picturales les plus récentes : une allure urbaine, affir- mée, contemporaine, avec une élégance nonchalante. Il évoque le tableau Bad Boy, non pas pour souligner une attitude rebelle, mais plutôt pour exprimer une forme d’indépendance, de liberté d’esprit. Il avance, sac de voyage à la main, comme un citoyen du monde, curieux des cultures, des couleurs, des langages visuels. Il porte en lui les influences croisées de la rue, de la mode, du graffiti et des émotions brutes.
Physiquement, le personnage évolue aussi : l’apparition des cheveux, nouveauté dans mon univers sculptural, marque une volonté d’explorer davantage l’identité individuelle. Ce détail, em- prunté aux textures de mes tableaux numériques, traduit un pas vers l’humanisation de mon personnage – sans pour autant en faire une règle figée pour mes oeuvres à venir.
La sculpture devient ici un manifeste de cette fusion entre l’univers pictural et sculptural, une sorte de passerelle où textures, typographies et couleurs dialoguent avec la matière. Le socle, comme souvent, prolonge cette histoire en rappelant l’environnement urbain, ancré mais mouvant.
