Myth Busting in Allergy Practice

Misinformation and disinformation are rampant, and many of our patients present to us with unfounded concerns related to their allergic disease, or results from unvalidated diagnostics tests. This session will focus on common myths and misconceptions we encounter in the allergy practice and educate the audience on the origins of the myth, fact versus fiction, education on these topics as well as how to dispel the myths and educate our patients with empathy.
