Introductory Course in Rhinolaryngoscopy Moderator: Jerald W. Koepke, MD, FACAAI
Indications for, and the use of, the fiberoptic rhinoscope in the allergist’s office will be reviewed. This session will discuss the surgical anatomy of the upper airway, including the nasal cavity, pharynx, and larynx as seen during a fiberoptic examination
of the upper airway using a rhinoscope. Slides and video
clips that identify normal and abnormal anatomy, as well as disease presentations, and post-operative changes found by endoscopic examination of the upper airway, will be provided.
