Promotion
and Participation
WEE will support the school with the following promotional material:
• Promotional flyers for students.
• Posters and banners for your school.
• Information and support for parents during
meeting.
• Media (presentations and video).
Once your school has decided to participate in the WEE programme, it is important that you consider the following:
It is important for parents to see that the school cares for their children’s education and innovation in teaching. It is therefore essential that your school uses the promotional materials provided to present this decision to the parents (even though they may eventually decide not to participate in the programme).
The students are the first recipients of information from the programme, and for this reason, they must be made aware of all the personal and professional benefits that this programme can provide.
In order to generate interest among parents and have them take the programme more seriously, it is important to highlight that the WEE will be an integral part of the academic syllabus throughout the school year.
We strongly suggest that you set up a meeting with the parents in which a representative of the WEE team will attend as support. As well as providing support and additional information, this generates greater confidence in the programme for your school, the parents and students. This meeting should take place at the beginning of the school year.
