  YAKANAMA JAPAN PAVILION
      Nestled at the foot
of Mt. Shifuku is
the quaint village
of Yakanama. Here,
below the delicate
pink petals of the
sakura trees, lies
the opportunity to
explore and wonder
at the breathtaking
nature of Japan. Flowing rivers and streams sparkle as you stroll through the tranquil garden paths or drift leisurely on board a traditional Wasen boat. Travel through a glowing lantern passageway, pass under vibrantly orange Torii gates, and gaze up at the all-encompassing elegance of a bamboo forest to fully step out of the hustle and bustle of daily life and into a world embracing balance and serenity.
Amid this blissful botanical wonderland is the core of the village, the Takara district. Delight in a shopping and dining experience like you’ve never seen before. Top Japanese chefs serve everything from deliciously full-bodied bowls of ramen to the most ‘kawaii’ of bento lunches. Delicate handmade washi paper and bestselling manga are among the abundance of treasures to be found in our exclusive shops.
Every day, the people of Yakanama village proudly present
a variety of music and dance spectacles in the center of the square. Surely the dazzling talent will inspire you to take
the stage yourself at the karaoke bar, equipped with a full band and backup singers. If taking the stage yourself doesn’t quench the desire for drama, then visit the theater, where remarkable performers will entice you with a celebration of kabuki theatre. It’s an extravagant visual sensation that will surprise and inspire the imagination of all who partake.
