BRAIN SWAPPING MACHINE
One scientist's quest for world domination.
With the cat's evil spirit and her opposable thumbs, who can stop them?
WHAT IT IS
This is a machine intended to switch the brain of a
human and a cat. The prop was designed with a strong influence from Kenneth Strickfaden and his props made for the film Young Frankenstein (1974). The brain-swapping machine was built from a variety of re-purposed items such as: a filter, hair dryer, children's toys, strainers, etc.
HOW IT WORKS
When each subject wears the corresponding helmet,
the main power generator may be turned on. Inside of this generator are test tubes filled with DNA samples taken from the subject, as well as an acid-based catalyst.
With the power on, the generator will light up and begin to shake, causing the DNA samples and catalyst to push up through the tubing and mix together inside the human helmet. Once this step is complete, the brain transfer will begin. It takes twenty minutes for a full brain swap, any more or less will cause irreparable damage to the human. No need to worry about the cat– it will be fine... they have eight more lives...
