Porsches have been a part of Lime Rock since the very founding of the track in 1957 and the regional Porsche clubs are frequent visitors, especially the Connecticut Valley Region of the Porsche Club of America. For the Historic Festival, Porsche fans were treated to a large corral space near the new Proving Ground area, where Porsches new and old gathered for the entire weekend, hosted by CVR volunteers. Corral participants were also invited
to join in parade laps around the circuit, both on Saturday and Monday. For Sunday, due to the large number of Porsche fans participating, the corral area was filled with an even greater number of enthusiastic owners.
Porsche Cars North America has also been a frequent guest at the track, hosting numerous driving events throughout the year. As part of the Festival weekend, PCNA offered midday hot laps, where fans were treated to high- speed runs around the track in the new Taycan electric vehicle, piloted by
a professional Porsche driver who ensured that every passenger received a thrilling ride, demonstrating that electric vehicles make for fantastic performance cars.
