THE FANS
The “Park” suffix at Lime Rock is there for a reason – Lime Rock actually is a park. Composed of hundreds of acres of gentle hills, lush fields and dense woodlands, it offers a unique environment to interact with all forms of motoring, both at rest and at speed.
Since its founding, Lime Rock has been all about its fans. Rather than row upon row of grandstands, Lime Rock offers instead an array of grassy knolls with expansive views of the action around the entire track. There’s room to gather friends around a picnic blanket, space for children to wander safely or shady spots to hide from the summer sun.
For up close viewing, the paddocks are open to all spectators, who are free to interact with the weekend’s participants and their cars. On Sunday, the track quiets down and then opens up as hundreds of cars line up on the straight for the Concours and then around the track for the Gathering of the Marques. It’s an environment unmatched by any other motorsports venue in the country.
