(TOP) SPL 224B (NOJ 391) and the reserve car SPL
226B (NOJ 393) at the Warwick base of operations prior
to the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Following a serious accident
that rendered SPL 224B hors de combat, its running gear
and other parts that had been scrutineered and tagged
were installed in SPL 226B, which assumed its sibling’s
identity for the race. (Guy Loveridge)
