George Samuel Engle (1883-1944) of “Melton,” Brighton Road, Sutton, Surrey and St Helen’s Court, Great St Helen’s, London EC3 and 39 Eaton Court, Hampstead, London NW3, UK. Departmental Manager of the Asiatic Petroleum Company Ltd.
He later bought a Phantom III 3CP178.

42UK was off-test on 22 June, 1935 and was possibly used as a demonstrator or an inspection car because on 13 June, 1936 it was sold for £1,950 “at special shop soiled price”.
It was ordered without a chrome waist moulding but it was otherwise identical to 96SK.
42UK was originally fitted with a sunshine roof, an adjustable full width front seat and a division between front and rear compartments at a cost of £60, however the division was later removed.
