Eng. Onsongo initially stood in as treasurer, collecting funds
on behalf of members. Graduate Engineer Abdifatah Jama of IEK South Rift branch stepped up coordination efforts, rallying support among institution’s members countrywide. In the end, the initiative reached out to hundreds of vulnerable children in care homes from Isiolo to Nakuru, Mombasa to West Pokot.
