About Embers
EMBERS is a non-profit social enterprise, launched in 2001, with the mission to empower individuals living on low incomes into economic self-sufficiency and develop productive futures by creating access to work opportunities, training and support.
For the last 20 years, we have provided a comprehensive array of job placements and support services that address the full employment continuum, from pre-employment to sustainable employment. EMBERS has won multiple provincial and national awards for our community impact and initiatives aimed at getting people back to work and training them for sustainable employment. We are proud to be known as one of the largest social enterprises in Canada, with four branches serving the Lower Mainland.
EMBERS is proud to have supported workers and partners through the following four key service programs: EMBERS Staffing Solutions, EMBERS Training, EMBERS Community Employment Services, and EMBERS Eastside Works.
