CABLES AND CONNECTORS
Patura high voltage electric fence cable is double insulated and high voltage safe to over 10,000V. It can be used for over and underground lead outs, for the connection of earth stakes and for carrying current past gates. For distances up to 50m the 1.6mm diameter version is suf cient. For distances over 50m the strong, high conductivity 2.5mm cable should be used.
CONNECTOR FOR HIGH VOLTAGE CABLE
Practical tip:
Never use domestic copper cables for connection in
the electric fence area. Electrochemical corrosion takes place between copper and steel fence wires, which eats into the connection and impedes the current ow. Apart from that, such cables are not cleared for high voltage.

For waterproof connection of electric fence high voltage cable diameter 1.6mm - 2.7mm.
