there are two major areas of concern placing the envirotubes® for dewatering slurry.
1). care must be taken to keep the tubes from rolling; therefore, the Envirotube® must be placed on a level site to work properly.
2). Erosion prevention.
Concern #1: Roll Prevention
the tube does not roll like a log, but like a slinky toy or crawler track. the tube will not roll uphill; therefore a prop must be used to keep the tube from rolling. this can be a pipe (under the underlayment - see page 6.), a pushed up dirt berm, or objects like pallets along the low side of the tube.
