Pumping Into Envirotubes® (cont.)
As the second Envirotube® is being filled the slurry in the first tube will separate. the water will then get between the filter cake and the slippery fabric separating the filter cake allowing the tube to dewater. Kicking the tube or walking on it is sometimes needed to start this process.
When the second Envirotube® comes to elevation switch back to the first tube.
When needed on repeated fillings, it is possible to pump the Envirotube® to a 6’ elevation or more.
