Filling ENVIROTUBES® in Water
The first and easiest method is to dredge directly into the Envirotube® with insitu material nearby.
If this material is predominantly coarse or large grain, it will be a onetime fill. The fines will carry through and exit with the decant water.
If fine grain, clays or organic material is used, repeated fills will be needed to finish to height.
On the fill end of the Envirotube®, a void will form under the inlet connection. This can be filled by using a tee to make a bypass
connection.
