Lower and Middle School Debating Society is an opportunity for younger girls to learn key debating skills and prepare for formal and informal competitive debating opportunities throughout the year. Those interested in taking part should sign up and commit to attending frequently in order to be in a position to represent the School.

Economics Society offers a series of challenging lectures aimed at extending Sixth Form Business and Economics students. These take place approximately once every half term, and timings can vary. Speak to Mr Thomas for more details.

These Debating Society sessions are designed to prepare pupils for the Cambridge Union schools competition which takes place in the Spring Term. There are also opportunities to take part in the English Speaking Union schools’ competition and the Rotary Club public speaking competition.

This activity offers a weekly opportunity to get involved in the student-led Economics Society Magazine. This magazine is a great opportunity to explore your analytical skills in the aspects of Economics and Politics especially.

This club provides students of all ages an opportunity to explore science through hands- on experiments and projects. Girls can work independently or with help and can undertake projects leading to the nationally recognised CREST Award doing projects such as last year’s mummification, crazy foam, seismometers, bath bombs and regeneration of plants.
