Art and Design
“I love art at Headington. Our art room has got so many things to try - we get to make lots
of things as well as painting and drawing.”
Year 2 Pupil
Our adventurous curriculum of art and design means girls are free to explore their imaginations through painting, drawing, collage,
silk painting, clay work and model-building.
We display the girls’ high quality artwork throughout the School and their work has also been exhibited in national competitions as well as the annual Oxford Young Art Exhibition and in the world- famous Ashmolean Museum.
Girls enjoy visits from artists who inspire them to try new things and be creative with different materials and those progressing to our Senior School benefit from the award-winning Art School and
resident art tutors.
