Supporting the U4 History curriculum, this tour will focus on the ordinary soldier’s perspective of battle and will equip pupils with a unique insight into the nature of trench warfare that cannot be conveyed in the classroom. We will undertake a tailor-made tour of both the Ypres area and the Somme, take part in a “No Man’s Land” experience and participate in the nightly Last Post ceremony at Menin Gate.
