If we move in and it feels lighter, lighter: A state of mind that is light is a feeling that is light. It is not the same as the phenomenon that is swaying lightly. The phenomenon that sways lightly, vaguely like a cloud or like a strand of silk—thin and clear—that is a type of phenomenon. But, the phenomenon that sways lightly—it emerges in the ambiance of what type of feelings? Uncluttered, light, bright, or airy—that is the state of mind that feels uncluttered, airy, light. But, the swaying, the lightness that is a phenomenon that emerges within the ambiance there. Sometimes as we continue to experience the state of mind and there are phenomena emerging inside that light ambiance of the state of mind. It has a phenomenon of swaying, moving lightly—this swaying lightly is considered a type of emergence-cessation phenomenon. But, the feeling is the ambiance that is supporting—it is our state of mind.
Understand? If you already understand well, see how you relate your natural conditions tomorrow. Will you be able to relate correctly? Some people relate correctly, relate like this: The more we practice dhamma; the more we contemplate, the more we feel that our state of mind is more serene, we feel very good, comfortable. Overall state of mind resides with happiness. “Overall” resides with happiness—here we need to observe well.
