We only have the intention to contemplate the trilaksana—emergence- existence-cessation. Even if the phenomenon moves round and round without tripping, without stopping, we can still contemplate changes in the breathing. If breathing in – breathing out has no tripping phenomenon, no stopping, then we should increase our observation, increase our attention. Do breathe in and breathe out have the same clarity? Do they have the same length? Do they sometimes soften, fade, or disappear? These are the additional details that we should observe.
